It was a glamorous evening as Police’s Umar Kasumba and Umar Bulenga scored hat-tricks at Kawanda play ground on Tuesday evening in the Uganda Cup round of 16 to send the Cops into the Quarter finals.

The Uganda Premier league (UPL) top scorer Umar Kasumba gave Angelo Lonyesi’s side an early lead when he headed into the back on the net with just 15minutes into the game. The prolific striker went ahead to extend their lead with a brace in the 33rd before completing a hatrick in the 44th minute after an exquisite inter-player with the on-form Peter Ssenyonjo who recently scored for the Cops in their UPL win against Bright Stars.

Despite a consolation from Abubaker Bakari for the hosts of Baza Holdings, a lethal second half substitute Umar Bulenga added insult to injury when he struck another hat-trick to seal off Baza’s humiliation on the evening.
