Police FC and Sadolin Paints suffer shocks as Bright Stars edges Maroons

At Bugembe Stadium in Jinja, Soana FC shocked home side Sadolin Paints with a 2-1 win at their own turf. Very early goals from Simon Okwi and Musa Esenu in the first and fourth minutes respectively put the visitors in the lead while Ibrahim Ayub scored in the back of his own net to give the home side a consolation.

Elsewhere, Lweza FC shocked Police FC with a 2-1 victory at Kavumba Recreation Stadium in Wakiso while in Jinja, JMC Hippos were held to a goalless draw by visiting side Sports Club Victoria University (SC VU).

At Mwerwere Stadium in Matugga, home side Bright Stars edged Maroons with a 1-0 win. Lawrence Ndugga scored the only goal of the game.
