Kayihura’s men, Police F.C failed to arrest Vipers leading to a 2-1 defeat at the Kavumba Recreation stadium in Wakiso. Coach Edward Golola seems to be doing his homework so well as his side is yet lose a single game in the Uganda Premier League (UPL).
Vipers recovered from last week’s 2-2 draw against 5time record champions of URA to return to their winning ways and keep the top spot at the of the UPL table. After scoring against URA last week, Vincent Kayizzi brought his exquisiteness into another game when he scored against Police to hand the visitors a lead.
Last season’s MVP Allan Kyambadde who crossed from Express to Vipers also rose to the occasion with a strike to make it 2-0 in favor of Vipers before recess.
Ben Ocen scored a consolation for Police but all efforts to find an equalizer failed condemning the cops to their fourth loss of the season and leaving them stuck in the 7th position on the table with 13points from 10games.
Meanwhile Vipers maintained their top spot at the UPL table with 23points from 9games and a game less than second placed SC Villa who are on 22points.
