Angelo Lonyesi’s Police managed to edge relegation battlers KJT Rwenshama by 1-0 at Nakivubo Stadium in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) yesterday.
The industrious Umar Kasumba scored the only goal of the game as the Cops collected all the three points from a struggling Rwenshama who lie second bottom on the AUPL table with 18 points from 25 games.
The goal extends Kasumba’s tally to 13 goals as he continues to gun for the golden boot.
The win however kept Police strong in 6th spot on the log with 37 points from 24 games and just a point behind 5th placed Bul fc who have played a game more than the Cops.
