Following the Leila Kayondo –SK Mbuga saga, Police is considering the possibility of arresting Leila Kayondo for misusing Facebook and contravening the Computer Misuse Act.
According to our sources, Leila who went on Facebook and called upon the Police to help her after she was battered by her tycoon lover, SK Mbuga, noted that the Police was slow to help as she went through a lot of pain. Police was unhappy with this.
More to this, Leila Kayondo made a lot of misleading statements about the matter on Facebook. The statements were uncoordinated. This led to a lot of time wastage as Police conducted investigations into the matter.
Additionally, when they finally went to arrest her man, they found the two together drinking themselves silly. She then attempted to fight the Police not to take her man away saying that she had made a mistake and forgiven him for whatever he did.
Under the Computer Misuse act, a person can be arrested for using electronic media like Facebook to mislead the public and the authorities.
Although she has stood surety for her man who has been released on a 5 million non-cash bond, Leila could be next in the coolers.
