Zari is a wanted woman on the run.
The city socialite whose sex tape leaked to the public late last year, a few days before her much hyped Ciroc party, is wanted by Police. She has however jumped bond several times “pissing” off the authorities.
News coming in is that Police has under it’s constitutional mandate asked Ugandans to arrest Zari and bring her in. According to our source, the police can constitutionally ask citizens to turn in a criminal on the run.
Although a reward has not been spelt out for whoever arrests Zari, the plan seems to be a failing one even from the start. This is largely so because the socialite rarely sets foot in Uganda nowadays.
“She is either in Tanzanian having fun with her singing lover or she is on a trip to Zanzibar or she is back to South Africa,” says a source. “She is just too difficult a match for the Ugandan authorities, let alone the public who want to arrest her.”
According to section 13 of the recently enacted anti-pornography law, it is an offence to have any part in the production, distribution or consumption of pornography in Uganda, by releasing her sextape, Zari can be arrested and fined legally.
Whether Zari will be spotted, captured and handed in to police by a concerned Ugandan is something that remains to be seen.
