In a recent interview, controversial TV star Mary Luswata, who has made a name from insulting celebs and getting personal with them on her show on Urban TV, came out to beg to be forgiven by musician and fashionista Leila Kayondo.
Mary said that she was very remorseful of the fact that she insulted Kayondo on her show. “Yes, I insulted her on my show, and that was Leila Kayondo. However, I felt guilty for only five minutes and buried the remorse,” Mary said.
She then added that she didn’t get a chance to apologize to her since she also took to Facebook to fire back at Mary. “No, I didn’t apologize since she went ahead to insult me on Facebook, but I felt sorry for what I did,” she said.
Mary then talked about the threats that she had been receiving from the public. “I get so many threats, to the extent that I no longer call them threats but child play since some people never get tired of threatening me. My family is proud of me, but so worried about my safety.”
Talking more about her safety, Mary who was rumoured to have two bodyguards, a rumour she dismissed, said that she is never worried about anything. “Why should I be worried, I am a strong hearted and tough skinned girl who can never worry about what other people wish to do to me.”
The two ladies started beefing the day Mary said that she was being beaten up by her hubby. “I walked into her boutique and found the attendants discussing how SK Mbugga beats her up.” When she said this on air, the two became sworn enemies.
