A day after the duo of Kent and Flosso released their Muzanyo video, it has premiered at Kampala’s top night spot FAME Lounge. While at the UOTNight, Voltage music excited the crowd with the latest monster song and the crowd received it with warm receptions.

People either love love fashion, Abryanz or both are loved. It was so likely that the highest views on any chat will come from a socialite or an artiste but not from Fashion expert. Last night ASFA and Abryanz collection CEO Brian Ahumuza hit the highest number of viewers ever to be on an Instagram live chat from a Ugandan celebrity when he was on chat with fellow fashion experts all over the world.

placeholder://On his live video with some of the most admired designers in the world like David Tlale, and others from the states, Abryanz hit over 2.4K live viewers on his Instagram and that is the current record to beat. Abryanz discussed among many things the effects and aftermath of fashion in the post covid era.

Most of the audience kept asking about his annual mist anticipated city event, the ASFAs and Abryanz was hesitant to disclose this year’s plans but urged the event lovers to hope for a big surprise regarding the event this year.

Gagamel singer, Shortkut to be laid to rest tomorrow

Gagamel singer Allan Arnold Massengere aka Shortkut Sojah will be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Masaka on Thursday.

This was revealed by Gagamel boss Bebe Cool, who is also the deceased’s uncle. He announced the burial arrangements in a Facebook post that read;

The body has this evening been taken to his ancestral home in Kalisizo Kyambogo, Masaka where it will be laid to rest tomorrow.

Unfortunately, there will be no vigil held in Kampala due to the covid-19 situation in the communities.

This implies that a few friends and family will congregate tonight at his village home in Masaka.

Church service will be at 10am tomorrow and burial will be at 12pm.

The family of the deceased wish to thank everyone so much for the intense prayers and moral support towards it throughout these hard times.

May his soul rest in peace.

The ‘Big Mouth By Far’ singer passed on earlier today in ICU where he had been admitted for over a month.

Rest in peace!

Songstress Sheebah Karungi has released a brand new video titled ‘Ninda’.

Ninda video features stunning shots captured by the lake shore and a fancy casino.

The video was directed and produced by Faido Filmz, a videographer trained and educated in Australia.

Ninda is a track off her ‘Samali’ album released earlier this week.

The song was written by Frank Lion, a fast raising song-writer, and the audio produced by Diggy Baur (Sabula Records).

OS Suna set to hold first ever scientific concert in Uganda

When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit earlier this year, societies struggled to settle into the new rhythms of life at home, as the long-term effects of the coronavirus pandemic on economies, industries and day-to-day lifestyles around the globe.

For example, the entertainment industry, one of the biggest income generator and most followed worldwide changed the consumer attitudes and behaviors as music concerts, parties, among others were all halted.

In countries like Uganda, the effect was so deep as it was fond of organizing an average of five big shows per month countrywide.

It sparked concerns from stakeholders on how they would adjust to the health threat at the same time steadily revamp the music business.

Fortunately, in July one of Uganda’s prominent singers, Omulangira Suna (OS Suna) dropped a proposal of holding his concert, Tebatusobola concert amidst such a skeptical season.

This was shocking to his fans and friends as many ran with advice to him but OS Suna maintained plans of his concert up to date without consideration of any arising challenges.

Tebatusobola concert is slated for 30th August 2020 at Calender Hotel, Makindye.

According to the concert organizer, Abtex Promotions the concert will be due to the date announced and will owe to the Ministry of Health’s stipulated Standard of Operation Procedures (SOPs).

OS will now register Uganda among the first ever countries to hold scientific concerts globally after England and Germany that are also due this month.
