Uganda legislators have banned Shisha smoking in Uganda. The ban comes at a time when many Ugandan celebrities including Sheebah Karungi of the Twesana fame had made it a habit to smoke Shisha every day.
At a meeting held in a Kampala Hotel, MPs moved to have it banned and all perpetrators arrested. Shisha which is known as a narghile or goza or hookah, mostly found in night clubs and pubs, is a water pipe with a smoke chamber, a bowl, a pipe and a hose.
Sheebah Karungi is one of the musicians who has been spotted smoking it publicly at Casablanca bar in Kololo. One can only hope that she stops smoking it before Police surrounds her house.
