Female singer Sheebah Karungi joined hundreds of football fans who thronged Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Sunday to watch the highly awaited Uganda Cranes game.
Sheebah, who was in company of her friends, watched Uganda make history as it qualified again for the Africa Cup of Nations after 39 years. Uganda defeated Comoros 1-0 in their final Group D game in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers on Sunday to finally secure a slot at Africa’s biggest football tournament in Gabon next year. Farouk Miya scored the lone goal that handed Uganda victory.
