Events security personnel Dixon Okello has now turned a community security operative, at least according to his latest “heroic” act.
Dixon Okello, this morning, netted notorious thugs who operated in Bukoto after several failed attempts by Police to keep them under custody. Dixon Bond Okello also forced the thugs to apologise to the public and he was able to share pictures of the thugs.
He posted: “Today,I became the local ‘village’ hero. Three weeks ago, I posted about a group of notorious thugs, who had been operating at a car wash bay directly opposite a police post, at the round about from Bukoto along the Northern Bypass. They always got police bond whenever they were arrested. The DPC Kiira Rd police station, after several complaints about the police post, carried out a major operation, netting a number of thugs in the area last week.
This morning, two of the most notorious thugs led by Congo(in a yellow t-shit) showed up at place asking for forgiveness. I decided to ask them to apologise to the pubic, promise to be responsible citizens in future and do community work. Right now ,they are clearing a blocked drainage tunnel. The locals are happy now.”
