Pepsi and Uganda Telecom have injected Ushs 40M in the upcoming Navio Live in Concert, the first-ever daytime rap show, set for August 23rd, 2014 at Kati Kati restaurant in Kampala. The concert will be put up by Daniel Kigozi alias Navio, East Africa’s biggest hip-hop artiste.
The concert will start at 10am and end at 8pm. Navio will perform live in concert alongside Bebe Cool, Chameleone, Bobi Wine, Sheeba, Irene Ntale, Peter Miles, The Mith, Cindy, Vampino, Keko, Khalifa Aganaga, Coco Finger & Yung Mulo.
Speaking at the concert launch, Regina Corry, the Manager- Brand and Communications at Uganda Telecom added that sponsoring Navio’s concert is in line with the company’s commitment to support the growth of national talent “As a proudly Ugandan brand, we are excited to sponsor Navio, our finest hip-hop artiste, to give him the desired backing to hold the greatest ever day concert in Uganda,” she said.
Navio welcomed the support and thanked Pepsi and Uganda Telecom for the support and promised his fans an exciting mega experience at his August 23rd concert. “With this massive support from my sponsors; Pepsi and Uganda Telecom, I promise all my fans the best experience ever at any concert and I invite you all for an out of this world experience,” Navio said.
