Meet the new Miss Tourism Kigezi beauty queen, Diana Nasinguza. Diana, 23, was recently adorned with the coveted Miss Tourism Kigezi crown at a ceremony held at White Horse Inn, Kabale. Diana is a fresh graduate from Kyambogo University.
Ahebwe Ritah, a student from Nkumba University was the 1st runner up while Arinaitwe Brendah, a student from Kabale University was the 2nd runner up.
Tourism Minister Hon. Maria Mutagamba, who also graced the crowning ceremony, thanked the Ceasat Kingdom of Economic development for supporting the Miss Tourism Kigezi event. She said that the pageant should be embraced because it helps popularize tourism potentials in various regions.
Meanwhile, the top three at the Miss Tourism Kigezi will join other regional winners for a three week boot camp that is slated to take place in August in preparation for the Miss Tourism Uganda grand finale.
