Upcoming female singer Lydia Jazmine has praised the Zzina Awards organisers for recognising and appreciating young talent. This comes after Zzina awards were held successfully for the second time running. The “Guno Mukwano” singer who had been nominated in two categories—Rising Star Of The Year and Best RnB Song—however walked away empty handed.

Nonetheless, she still prays for the continuity of the awards. She made her voice heard in a post that read; “I must say I was amused with ‪#‎zzinaawards‬ and ‪#‎GalaxyFm100‬.2 thank you for recognizing and appreciating young talent and the‪#‎newgeneration‬ music at large. I pray and wish that this goes on and on..again and again and again every year!!

‪#‎GUNOMUKWANO‬ gwemwalaga, keep the fire burning.”
