tephen Kiprotich (24) touches down at Entebbe Airport aboard an Emirates flight. He remarkably returns to Uganda a world champion after comfortably winning the marathon at the just ended World Athletics Championships in Moscow, Russia. The marathoner will be treated to a state dinner at the sprawling State House in Entebbe at 4pm. Prime Minister, Amama Mbabazi, will be the chief celebrant at the dinner. Kiprotich only started running the marathon in 2011. Previously, the 24-year-old had a nondescript career as a long distance runner.
