Over the weekend, Mityana Municipality was spilled with love and roses as its legislator Hon. Francis Zaake proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Bridget Ndagire Namirembe.
From the photos that stormed social media in the night hours of Sunday, April 10, 2022, Hon. Zaake in company of his friends; National Unity Platform (NUP) Secretary-General David Lewis Rubongoya, Bobi Wine’s singing partner Nubian Li, among others showed up for long-awaited moment.
Clad in a creamy-green luxurious suit, Hon. Zaake bent on a single knee, holding an engagement ring, with some romantic live music in the background strummed from a violin, asked girlfriend Bridget for a hand in marriage.
Bridget who was smartly donned in a long trendy pink-floral summer dress and escorted by Bobi Wine’s wife Barbie Ntugo Kyagulanyi, burst into tears of joy as she replied “I DO” to her best friend Zaake.
The NUP member of Parliament couldn’t hold the joy of his newly anticipated marriage journey as he showered love praises to now official fiancée Bridget on his social media.
“Roses do scent for a purpose, whether in summer or winter, isolated or not they keep the fragrance atop. You’ve been the epitome of hope, in good & bad times, you’ve caressed my bruised body, nursed my wounds, you’e been my strength. Will you marry me my love?! And she said YES,” Hon. Francis Zaake wrote.
The couple is said to be trekking a six-year-old relationship.
According to respected sources, Hon. Francis Zaake is gearing up to seal officializing his relationship with Bridget as the traditional and wedding functions are slated for close dates from now.
