Songbird Iryn Namubiru is a woman with a big heart. The “Kabi Ki” singer, through her NGO, Gather For Children has extended her kindness to women in Mityana. Iryn has delivered gum boots and lanterns to women in Mityana in a move to make their farming work a bit easier.
“I delivered gum boots to the women farmers of Gather For Children in Mityana to make their farming work a little easier so they can provide for their families from our organisation’s land,” she said.
Gather For Children is a Community Based Organization in Mityana which supports women to farm and feed their children by providing the land, equipment and other necessities.
The organization was started by singer Iryn Namubiru in 2006, using her own land, and is run in partnership with the Namukozi West women’s group.
