Songbird Rema Namakula is set to release “Banyabo” video soon.
The song, whose audio was released on Women’s Day, is a dedication to all the strong-willed women who have beaten the odds to succeed in life.
While premiering the audio online, she noted that the song was inspired by her late mother, Hamidah Nabbosa who raised her as a single parent.
“This is my mother’s story. She took care of us single-handedly. Tested and tried but she never gave up till the day she had her last breath. RIP mama Hamidah Nabbosa. I celebrate you,” she said.
According to photos from the upcoming video, Rema will portray a strong African woman. Here’s a sneak peek at Rema’s upcoming “Banyabo” video:
