Photos: Former refugees stage charity concert in Kampala

The Bahattiz music group performed at Theatre La’Bonita, Kampala last weekend. The four Congolese sisters performed together in a charity concert dubbed “Pay it forward fundraising”.

The group which is currently based in Canada is known for singing Gospel RnB, Hip-hop, Dance-hall and Reggae. The concert featured Ugandan gospel artistes like Pr Ruphin Mbayi, Cooper and G-way, Coopy Bly, Robinsan,Wilson Bugembe, Richy Kaweesa, Charmant Mushaga, and Holy Kean Amooti among others who curtain raised for the main performers of the night who came on stage at 9:30pm for the first set of of the show putting on all-white attires performing their hit songs like Don’t give up, La violence which excited the crowd. The proceedings from the show will go to their foundation which looks after orphaned children.
