Ex-Barcelona stars, Patrick Kluivert and Rayco Garcia have met His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni amidst plans to establish a football academy in the country.
The legendary duo that is reportedly on a working visit to Uganda on behalf of UNICEF has expressed interest to help the country nurture youngsters in the sport of football.
While speaking at a press conference on Monday evening at the UNICEF headquarters in Kampala, the two great stars said there is talent to be developed in the country; “No doubt, Uganda is blessed by talent. I have seen kids play around and I believe they can be polished with improved training facilities and methodologies.”
Kluivert arrived in Uganda early in the hens on Monday morning but his mate, Garcia has reportedly been in the country for at least three weeks now, no wonder he is been able to distinguish and acknowledge the huge potential of talent in country.
