While hundreds of football fans thronged Namboole on Sunday to watch the Uganda Cranes match live, Eddy Kenzo opted to watch in his comfort. The “Soraye” hitmaker, who admitted it was a very tense game, watched the game with friends at one of the local hotels.
Uganda made history as they qualified again for the Africa Cup of Nations after 39 years. Uganda defeated Comoros 1-0 in their final Group D game in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers on Sunday to finally secure a slot at Africa’s biggest football tournament in Gabon next year. Farouk Miya scored the lone goal that handed Uganda victory.
Here are photos of Kenzo watching the game.
