BET award winner Eddy Kenzo yesterday visited the American ambassador Scott H Delisi at the American embassy who congratulated the singer upon winning the prestigious award.
The ambassador said, “We had a visit today from Eddy Kenzo. It was so much fun to help celebrate his BET Award as Best New International Artist! We had supported his nomination on the Embassy Facebook page and were delighted that this humble, talented young Ugandan was recognized. For a kid who grew up on the streets, Eddy has used his artistry to not only create a name for himself, but now he seeks to help empower and mentor young Ugandans facing their own challenges in life. We’re proud to support his efforts and look forward to working with Eddy for years to come. Congratulations to the Best New International Artist! Way to go, Eddy!”
