Musician Eddy Kenzo has made it in the music industry not only in Uganda but also in other parts of the world. The Sitya Loss singer has received accolades from Nigerian, Afro-Australia Music and Movie Awards, Burkina among others said that he felt Ugandans always left him out whenever they organized awards.
While receiving his Artiste of the year award at Serena, Kenzo said that he has always snubbed Ugandan awards because they always cheat him. He said;
“Ladies and gentlemen. This is my first time to attend any Ugandan award ceremony. The reason I was not attending is because they cheat me. Any artiste in Uganda who wants to reach where I have reached has to do what I do, win everything. I am left with a Grammy.”
Eddy Kenzo was the biggest winner of the �night. He took home 4 awards; Best Video (Soraye), Best East African Act, Best Male Artist and Artist of the Year.
