After a recent visit to the clergy, where she asked for prayers and denounced nudity, celebrity Desire Luzinda, known for her Ekitone song, has given back to the little souls at Ibanda Babies home.
The singer was judged by many after her Allwhite affiar concert whose proceeds were supposed to go to the babies home in form of charity. She never took the funds there and instead used the money according to our source.
Desire seems to have seen the light after the talk with God’s men and she decided to fullfil her promise and give back to the kids.
In the photos that we have received from Ibanda, the singer is seen serving the children with cake and also giving them soft drinks to celebrate Christmas.
When asked about the charity drive, Desire said that she was most glad to have spent time with the children. “I was happy to spend my 23rd with the orphans of Ibanda Babies home. I just wanna thank my managers, Pepsi and all those that contributed towards this charity journey. A hand that giveth shall receive where you taketh. Could be small but it’s from the heart. Happy holidays to the orphaned kids of Ibanda Babies,” she said.
Desire gave several items to the children including utensils like basins, cups and Jerrycans. She also took with her some blankets, toilet paper and sugar among other items.
Well done Desire. All other celebrities should emulate you.
