After being awarded as the most outstanding African Comedian at the Afro-Australian Movie and Music Awards, Anne Kansiime has returned home. The African comedy queen who walked away with an award at the Riverside Theatre, Parramatta, Sydney, Australia returned to her home country Uganda, yesterday.
Upon arrival, in the company of her hubby Gerald Ojok, the funny lady who has become an international comedy star told fans that she was happy to be back home. “Home sweet home. Got home safe my darling and happy ninjaz. Shared blessings,” she said.
While hosting the award event last weekend alongside a renowned Canadian-Nigerian Comedian, Anne Kansiime was awarded with an AAMM award. She also received an award on behalf of her Ugandan singing counterpart Eddy Kenzo at the same function.
Anne who was chauffeured to the event in a limousine couldn’t hide her joy as she shared photos online of the presidential treatment.
Top personalities in the Australian arts industry were awarded at the same event.
