Argentine soccer star, Lionel Andrés Messi has officially joined Paris St Germain on a two-year contract with the option of a third and five days.

This follows his lifetime football club, Barcelona sending shock waves through world football last week by announcing that Messi’s 21-year stay at the Nou Camp was done due to constraints in La Liga’s Financial Fair Play regulations.
The 34-year-old Argentina international arrived determined to bid farewell to teammates and the entire members at the Catalan club, a meeting that ended emotionally and tearily.
On Tuesday evening, Messi arrived in Paris for final paper works in his contract and medical.
He was also officially unveiled as Paris St Germain’s new forward with jersey number 30.
Messi’s annual wage has been set at €35m (£29.6m) net, plus other bonuses.
