Local comedienne Anne Kansiime replicated her 2015 success in Zimbabwe as she staged another epic show in the Southern African nation on Saturday. The pint-sized funny woman had previously written history in Zimbabwe after her maiden comedy show at the 7 Arts Theatre last year sold out before she landed in the country, forcing promoters to organise a second show which also sold out.
Riding on the back of such success, Kansiime did not disappoint over the weekend as she yet again managed to attract thousands of comedy lovers to her show that was held in the Zimbabwean capital, Harare. She reportedly filled Harare’s biggest auditorium, the Harare International Conference Centre.
Meanwhile, Kansiime’s comedy show in Zimbabwe follows successful shows in Malawi, Zambia and Rwanda recently which all come as part of her 2016 world comedy tour.
