New Vision’s Mubiru Kakebe died yesterday at Mulago hospital. He was hospitalized last Friday in the intensive care unit. Friends say that he was attacked by an allegedly tipsy lady while on duty as he tried to take her photo while on a boat cruise on lake Victoria.
The case was reported to the police in Kabalagala but the woman was released on bond.
The photojournalist who was working with Vision group’s New Vision, The Kampala Sun tabloid and Bukedde died of tetanus from the wound that he had got on his arm from the bottle cuts.
He will be missed. May His Soul rest in peace.
