Fans and friends of Hajjati Sophia Nantongo surprised her with a birthday party. The party which was held at Fang Fang restaurant made Sophia shed tears of joy.
The plan was orchestrated by her bestie and fellow musician Angella Kalule of the Katikitiki fame. Kalule apparently duped her into believing she was going for a show only to later learn it was actually her own party.
Sophie had mixed feelings of delight and disappointment as she would not be getting her performance fees as earlier anticipated.
“When this is all done, you have to pay me my money because I’ve made an appearance,” she quipped before cutting the cake.
The party was attended by over 20 people.
