2017 will be a good year for Tanzanian rapper turned politician Joseph Haule alias Professor Jay if his own words and pictures doing rounds on social media are anything to go by. The rapper who joined politics to become Mikumi Constituency MP in Tanzania is planning to officially marry his fiancée and mother of his daughter, Lisa this year.
The rapper had last year promised to walk down the aisle with his fiancée in 2017, in a revelation made on EA Radio’s show Planet Bongo. Well, Professor Jay has made true of his promise by engaging his partner Grace Mgojo on 31st December 2016.
The ‘Nikusaidiaje’ rapper went down on one knee and proposed to Grace who has been living with him for the past few years, with a child as proof of their union.
He later took to Facebook and shared pictures of himself on one knee as he put a ring on his fiancee’s finger.
