Fashion designer Akinyi Meram Victoria will dress KCCA’s Executive Director Jeniffer Musisi for this year’s Kampala City Festival.
Victoria landed the opportunity after winning a design competition organised by KCCA that pitted several creative fashionistas from across Africa against each other. The 22-year old Ugandan emerged with the best costume.
Akinyi is a graduate of Makerere University Margaret Trowel School of Industrial Fine Arts with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Fine Art and Design.
The festival will take place on 4th October.
