Photo: Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago mourns fallen News anchor.

Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago is in mourning following the death of former NTV news anchor Rosemary Nankabirwa who passed on Sunday at Aga Khan hospital, Nairobi after losing the battle to cancer. “Rest in peace Rosemary Nankabirwa. My condolences to the family, friends and media fraternity,” Lukwago shared his condolence message on soccial media after learning of the passing on of Rosemary.

Lukwago also paid his last respects to the deceased during a requiem service that was held at Christ the King church on Tuesday. “Paying my last respect to the former NTV news anchor, Rosemary Nankabirwa at Christ the King church this afternoon. May her soul rest in eternal peace,” he said as he shared a photo laying a wreath on Rosemary’s coffin.
