Ghetto Gladiator and Ugandan musician, Bobi Wine, together with his wife Barbie excited many when they shared a plate of katogo food (a traditional breakfast dish in Uganda) at a charity event recently.
The celebrity couple had gone for charity at Bukomero School where they gave reusable products to adolescent girls. Bobi also took some time to give the girls words of wisdom on how to look after themselves, excel and be responsible people.
“We visited Bukomero School on Friday, gave out free reusable pads to each adolescent girl for better menstrual management. My sweet husband, the wind beneath my wings, my main cheer leader gave the students the wisest words of wisdom I’ve ever heard about life choices. We also had free HIV testing and counseling. After all was said and done, Students signed commitment cards promising not to engage in sexual activities until they complete school. We all then came back to Kampala with smiles on our faces because we believe that one day, we shall overcome our setbacks,” an excited Barbie said after the charity drive.
