Comedian Anne Kansiime, the first Ugandan to ever win the “African Oscar” for favorite comedian, has finally received her coveted ‘Oscar’ accolade.
An excited Kansiime posted:
“After the beautiful show with Basket Mouth today I got a pleasant surprise and i have just received the coveted ‘African Oscar’ Award For Favourite COMEDIAN.
The ‘Africa Oscar’, African NAFCA, is designed to globally promote African Cinema and culture. The prestigious Nollywood and African Film Critics Awards (African NAFCA) are awards of merit and are considered the highest internationally recognised prestigious African wards in Hollywood.”
