Musician Phina Mugerwa aka Masanyalaze is lucky to be alive after she was involved in a nasty accident in Northern Uganda on Thursday evening. The singer, who was driving from Yumbe district in a Prado TX after performing at Museveni’s rally, came close to meeting her maker after she lost control of the car that saw it overturn multiple times.
According to reports, Phina failed to break in time consequently ramming into a huge rock as the car overturned several times. Phina and five others with whom she was travelling sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Gulu Independent Hospital where they are being treated. Luckily, no one died in the accident.
Phina, who is among the many artistes that were contracted by NRM party to join the President on his campaign trail, was headed for Gulu at the time of the accident where she was supposed to spend the night and prepare for more rallies in Adjuman and Amuru districts today.
