It is a great thing to cross the New Year in Prayer.

It was intense prayer, praise, dance and the glorious power of the Word of God as Phaneroo ushered in the New Year. The event graced by thousands of attendants was held at the KCCA Grounds Lugogo.

Forty five districts in Uganda were represented at the service. Christians from several nations such as Southern Sudan, South Africa, Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, United Kingdom and the United States of America were also in attendance.

The power packed service was also graced by a number of Christian artists who ministered to the eager congregants. These included Kajambiya, Ivan TIT, Javie Bwesige, Kay Williams and Holy Ken Amooti.

Apostle Grace Lubega, the Vision Bearer of Phaneroo Ministries International informed the congregants that 2019 is the year of Faith.

“Believe God this year.” He said, “This year, choose to become a crazy believer. Faith can never be wrong. Grace is given to the man of faith.”

He cautioned his listeners not to set their eyes and thoughts on the realities of the physical realm but to look to Christ and to believe.

Testimonies of the great power of God manifested through the last year were shared by several believers.

Victor from Kenya, testified in an emotional account of how he had been under a serious drug addiction but a chance meeting with the man of God, Apostle Grace delivered him for good.

Deborah Makumbi from the United Kingdom joyfully narrated how a malignant tumour in her brain disappeared because she constantly listened to the Word as preached by the ministry and chose to believe against all odds.

At this great historical gathering, many were healed and delivered while hundreds gave their lives to Christ.

Phaneroo continues to shape the destinies of thousands, setting a pattern of greatness, drawing countless people into intimate relationship with the Most High God and pioneering a generation of distinctive believers who are sold out to the cause of the gospel.

“As a top artist in Uganda,i have all the moral authority to say that if you did not hear your music play or your artists music play on radio,tv or club then you or your artist did not do well at all no matter New or Old talent coz the djs did their part without favouring any one.Below is my list of artists who deserve full recognition/credit for 2017 entertainment in Uganda and their songs accordingly.” He stated before unveiling his list last year.
The not so popular list rubbed some artists and their fans the wrong way, that they un-earthed a war of words, discrediting the “Wasibuka Wa” singer for being childish ,with some saying he should not have included himself on the list .
Well, guess what….. the infamous list is back as confirmed by Bebe himself in a tweet via his official page.
“The LIST …….loading” he wrote
We can’t wait!

As chaos ensued after Bobi Wine’s Boxing Day concert in Busabala was cancelled, Bebe Cool was on the other hand, making sure his concert kicks off well, meeting with Police personnel and busy stepping up preparations at the venue for his show that was happening on the same day in Kiwatule.

Much as most artists showed support and solidarity for Bobi Wine when he was jailed after the Arua saga, they did not want to know much about the boxing day incident as they went ahead to support Bebe Cool’s concert by personally showing up and performing in Kiwatule. Some of those artists included Apass Bagonza who was not bothered by all the criticism he got.
The controversial artist seemed to reply them in a tweet where he explained that he can never sacrifice his life for the plans of a politician, continuing that he stands for what is right.

“I can never sacrifice my life for the plans of a politician. I stand for what is right and say no to what is wrong and most importantly I live my life the way I like.” He wrote
Bebe Cool had a successful concert on Boxing Day, with massive crowds showing up to support him despite of what was happening elsewhere.
