In this city, where many of our socialities struggle with coming off dressed stylish, its refreshing to see someone like Keko, who I must say is one of my most stylish celebrities. She has not only managed to properly nail her tomboy looks, but focuses the look from head to toe.
So today, lets look at a few styling techniques that you can use to get your tomboy look right, with out seeming like your trying too hard.
1. You don’t have to dress buggy.
The biggest misconception is that for a tomboy look, your clothes have to be buggy. They don’t! Simply borrow a few clothing items from the men’s wardrobe like a tee, trainers and hoodies. The well fitting, the better.
2. The hair.
Now, you cannot pull off a tomboy look when you are having a wig or twist. Borrow a leaf from the pro her self, and either have dreads, rugged hair or even better go bold!
3. Have a touch of feminine.
It could be a blazer, or sunglasses. Your tomboy look can do alot more better if you add some female pieces to it. Buggy jeans, a loose fitting shirt and an even bigger hoodie aint exactly a fashionable tomboy look.
4. Accesorize.
Ear studs, chains, charm bracelets and make up like coloured lipsticks; you can always find a way to fit all these in your look and still achieve your tomboy look.
