Pepsi, one of the sponsors of the UEFA champions League, on Saturday treated Makerere University students to a fun-filled experience at Lumumba Hall. Pepsi provided games through which students won a number of prizes, provided free of charge entertainment as well as a large screen for the students to watch the Champions League finals.

The experience which started early in the day climaxed with the final whistle concluding the 2016 UEFA Champions League in which Real Madrid edged Atletico Madrid to win the “Big Ears”.

According to Jeff Sekandi, the Crown Beverages Limited head of Marketing, this was one of the many activities that Pepsi carried out to crown the end of the Pepsi “Drink and Peel” promotion and also to bring closer to home the UEFA Champions League experience.

“We are happy that fans had a great football experience at Lido Entebbe and Makerere. We have a three-year partnership with UEFA as sponsors of the UEFA champions League, so this is just the beginning. We shall do the same next year and even the year after,” said Sekandi.
