Pepsi Awards First Winners For The “Peel And Win Trip To Italy” Campaign

As we draw closer to the UEFA champions league finals, Pepsi Uganda has drawn the first 3 lucky soccer fans and consumers of the soft drink who will travel to Italy to go and watch the finals of the UEFA Champions League.

The first three winners from Sunday’s draw are Abel Kafanka, Muhwezi Elly and Musinguzi William. They were contacted and travel arrangements are already being made.

The “Drink and Peel” promotion, where consumers stand a chance to win a fully paid VIP trip to watch the UEFA Champions league finals live in Milan come May, was officially launched on March 21st.

The campaign that will see 10 lucky consumers of the brand flown to Milan follows the three-year global partnership deal signed at the start of the 2015/16 season between Pepsi International and UEFA which is Europe’s football governing body.

In the campaign, all the fans have to do to stand a chance of winning is, buy soda of either 330ml or 500ml PET Pepsi bottles and peel wraps off the bottles to reveal a code which they are required to SMS to 8888 to enter the draw.

Next draws will be held on 17th and 1st May as the games coming to the finals. In total, 10 fans will win a fully paid trip to San Siro, Italy to go and watch the UEFA Champions League finals live on 28th of May.

Two winners will travel with a friend or spouse while the remaining 6 will be for the dealers who will be required to buy 3 cartons that come with a voucher card number which they have to send to 8888 to stand a chance each message costs 220.

There are also lots of instant prizes to be won for the consumers.
