KCCA FC, the FUFA Super League holders are luring former URA and TP Mazembe midfielder Patrick Ochan whom alongside Mike Mutyaba were got from DR Congo by TP Mazembe.
According to KCCA officials, the team hopes to use the midfielder’s skills to retain the FUFA Super League title and also have an impact on the team’s representation in the CAF Champions League. Though both players were cleared off by TP Mazembe to look for other clubs, the league defending champions have not formally contacted TP Mazembe requesting for the release of the midfielder officially.
An official from KCCA noted that the team is working hard to land the midfielder and are trying to secure his International transfer Certificate before he signs up for the Luggogo based giants.
The midfielder has been training with KCCA FC now for a while but according to reports from DR Congo, the African giants are yet to receive any formal information about Ochan getting a new club to feature for this season.
Meanwhile Mike Mutyaba has been training with Vipers but is yet to play any game for the club.
