On Friday morning, Patrick Kanyomozi bid farewell to the airwaves, concluding a remarkable 13-year career at KFM.

As the curtains closed on his final radio show, he reflected on a journey that began during his S.6 vacation, when he first dipped his toes into broadcasting at Prime Radio and later moved to Nation Media Group’s, KFM radio.
In a heartfelt social media statement, Kanyomozi expressed contentment, acknowledging that he leaves behind a fulfilled man who achieved his childhood dream in the world of radio and active journalism.
I leave a very contented man because from a very young age, all I ever wanted to do was to be a Radio Presenter. I was lucky to get my first radio job in my S.6 vacation and never looked back. I have lived my dream. I give glory to the most high.
Patrick expressed his gratitude to everyone that gave him a hand on his radio and journalism journey. His departure, however, raises questions about the next chapter in his life, as eager listeners and fans await news of his future endeavours.
Although he has kept his cards close to his chest, rumors have begun to circulate, suggesting that Kanyomozi might be gearing up for active politics, with whispers of a potential candidacy in the upcoming 2026 national elections.
We wish him all the best on his next chapter.
