By Our Reporter

Pastor Mark Kigozi has today reunited with Gary Skinner of Watoto Church having fallen apart 7 years ago.

In October 2009, Watoto Church dismissed Mark Kigozi who at the time was the pastor in charge of KPC East (now Watoto East). The reason given for Pr. Kigozi’s dismissal hinged on his failure to strike a balance between his role as a husband, his pastoral duties and family.

Pr. Kigozi had been an employee at Watoto Church for over 13 years, having joined as a young man at campus. When he was fired, he went on to start the Real Life Church and also the Real Life Show on NBS TV.

Today, the two pastors mended fences, forgave each other and Pr. Gary Skinner gave Pr. Kigozi his blessing. Apparently one of these Sundays, he will be the main preacher at Watoto Church.

Pr. Mark Kigozi and his wife Maureen have been married for 16 years and still counting. Part of the reason for their being fired followed from having been stressed over their failure to get a child in their marriage. However as luck had it, the two now have a child.
