The news reaching us reveal that Pastor Aloysius Bugingo of House of Prayer Ministries narrowly escaped a fatal attack during his evening commute.
The pastor’s vehicle fell victim to an unexpected ambush by unidentified gunmen who unleashed a gunfire upon him. Despite sustaining injuries, Pastor Bugingo managed to survive the ordeal and was swiftly transported to Mulago main hospital ICU for urgent medical attention.
Tragically, the pastor’s driver, suffered severe injuries and is believed to have succumbed to the gunshot wounds. This unfortunate loss adds a layer of sorrow to an already distressing incident that unfolded in the vicinity of Nansana.
The local authorities have initiated a thorough investigation into the attack, seeking to unveil the motives behind this heinous act.
Amid the somber aftermath, close friend and well-known figure, Frank Gashumba, shared an update on the situation. He revealed that he had spoken to Pastor Bugingo, who confirmed his safety but lamentably informed that his assistant, Richard, did not survive the attack.
