The death of city comedian and leader of the comedy group known as Amarula Family, the late Paddy Bitama is still hurting many people including the successor of the comedy group, Messe who has revealed that he strongly blames the early death of Paddy Bitama on Uganda’s renowned pastor and gospel singer Pastor Wilson Bugembe.
Messe alleges that Pastor Wilson Bugembe is partly to blame for Paddy Bitama’s death. He has been heard saying he is still angry at Nansana based Light the world church leader pastor Wilson Bugembe whom he accuses of blind folding the late Paddy Bitama with his advice.
Messe alleges that Bugembe encouraged Bitama to drop the ARV drugs and opt for just plain prayers and dry fasting at the church as he(Bugembe) was once a victim of the same infection but got healed with devoted prayers and fasting.
It’s rumored that Paddy took the advice which didn’t work for him at all and finally led to his early death when he succumbed to Kaposi Sarcoma, a type of cancer caused by HIV/AIDS.
