Pass the Aux

By Our Reporter

LinusTats Tattoo studio on Bukoto Street was the place to be on Saturday night as Pass the Aux, a bold new listening party powered by Guinness Smooth, made its electric debut.

The studio filled up fast as DJs Alza, Big E, and Selecta Jeff passed the aux with precision, each set a different flavour, house, amapiano, and Afro beats, taking the crowd on a ride. Then Linus Tats himself hit the decks and shut it down. With a set that blended underground edge and pure sonic euphoria, he reminded everyone why the DJ is still the heartbeat of the culture.

The night was themed “Make It Yours”, perfectly aligning with Guinness Smooth’s call to the new generation: own your style, take your shot, collaborate, create, and make it yours. And that’s exactly what happened. From custom fashion looks and fresh tattoos happening live, to off-the-cuff cyphers and spontaneous dance circles, this wasn’t just a party. It was a creative playground.

Pass the Aux

“This wasn’t just another party,” said Mercy Atwongire, Project Manager at UBL. “It was a celebration of collaboration, identity, and pushing boundaries, everything Guinness Smooth stands for. Pass the Aux is about giving creators and culture shapers the space to fully express and be heard.”

And that, they did.

From the ink-stained walls to the fashion-fueled fits, from the decks to the dancefloor, everything screamed originality. The final performance from Linus Tats was the cherry on top, raw, real, unforgettable, leaving the already hyped crowd chanting for more.
