Ugandan gossip queen Mary Luswata has questioned musician Alexander Bagonza a.k.a A Pass’ stage performance, still amidst praises that the singer is a talent bomb that has exploded on Ugandans. While cognizant of the fact that the singer has written songs for big names in the music industry like Bebe Cool and that he is good at what he does in studio, Mary observed that the ‘Tetubatya’ singer needs a lot of practice when it comes to stage performances.

According to Mary, A Pass is a total bore when it comes to the stage. She had this to say about his skills; “Everyone knows and loves A Pass but there is something that doesn’t add up. When he is on the stage he just disappoints, it is as if he is not there. He just cannot pull off a stage performance. I think he needs to learn that art.”

She then compared him to industry favorites like Chameleone and Bebe Cool as well as upcoming artistes like Nutty. “When Chameleone is on stage he is versatile, you can feel it in you as he performs and everyone is happy. Nutty Neithan himself with his not so good songs can do a great stage performance. I am told that someone took A Pass to a corporate event recently and everyone was disappointed in his stage skills,” Luswata added.

In response to this, a calm and calculative A Pass had this to say; “I believe what she says is her personal view. I will keep doing my thing and improve on my weak points but she should remember I am not a dancer I am a musician but am sorry to disappoint my dear friend Mary but I respect her personal opinion. A Pass is a young and improving artist with big expectations on my back from myself and the fans and I am willing to give them what they need Performance wise.”

Well, it seems that A Pass who has recorded more than 150 songs and written more than 200 songs needs to work on this weakness to better his career.

A pass has shared stages with Jamaican successful talents Konshens and Alaine. He also states that his musical influence is from many genres including dancehall, reggae, Rnb, hip hop and afro pop from artistes like Michael Jackson, Lucky Dude, UB40 among others.

We will keep you posted.
