Most of us might not be feeling the impact of Papa Cidy’s music in Uganda any more especially after the singer seceded from his former Leone Island boss Dr. Jose Chameleone and decided to go solo.
However Papa Cidy is not relaxed and doing all it takes to keep his game up and apparently the singer has embarked on his Evalina tour in the South Pacific where he jetted to yesterday ahead of his concert come Mother’s day on the 8th of this month.
Papa Cidy received a warm welcome upon his arrival at Honiara International airport, Solomon Islands after which he headed for a press conference.
“Finally I have reached Solomon Islands, so happy to be here. I’ve arrived, tasted island chicken and coconut, been at a press conference and met the band for a short rehearsal,” he said.
