Musician Pius Mayanja, also known by his stage name Pallaso revealed how his daughter reacted to his “Twatoba” video after watching it today. According to a photo of the baby sent to us right after she watched the video, baby Maisha couldn’t help but laugh at daddy.
The video set to premiere next week on Wednesday was shot with Nigerian singer Davido. Pallaso did a song with him when he visited Kampala last year for a show that took place at Freedom city.
According to our sources who have had a glimpse at the video, the “Go down Low” singer could have done more and leveraged his partnership with the Nigerian star to make a name for himself in Africa.
“The video is average, I don’t see anything star about it and you know that is the problem with us Ugandans, we don’t know how to milk such opportunities like the one with Davido. Look at Radio and Weasel, they made a video with Wizkid and now it is playing on international channels because they understand what it means to work with a continental artiste. Anyway, let me wait for you guys to see the video yourselves and be the judge,” the source said with disappointment in her face.
According to the singer, the video will be the best they have seen from him so far. “Just wait and see the works of my hands, I put my all in all in this video and am sure it is going to be the best,” he said.
We will keep you posted.
