Sensational Ugandan singer Pius Mayanja a.k.a Pallaso is set to hold a concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval for the first time.
The news was first made public by his manager Kama Ivien via his social media on Tuesday.
According to the Kama Ivien’s post, Pallaso will this year be hosting his fans at one the country’s biggest concert venues (Lugogo Cricket Oval) for the very first time in his life.
The last time the self-proclaimed ‘Sucker Free Boss’ held a concert was in 2017 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds, an event whose turnup was not convincing.
Since then, the “Malamu” crooner has tirelessly worked hard to rectify his brand to the appropriate standards of standing a test of a concert at such a historical venue.
In 2020, Pallaso proved more than ready to thrill in a concert after his phenomenal comeback with a couple of bangers like; Malamu, Ekiro Munzikiza, Akomelerwe, among others, but only to find, it was a Covid-19 season, with a ban on concerts in Uganda.
However, this is the highly anticipated time after the government lifted a ban on the performing arts industry and Pallaso’s concert features among the first concerts to be announced.
We will keep you posted.
