The Uganda Police force has confirmed its mission of hunting-down prominent singer Pallaso for scuffling with its officers and dissipating with the Police handcuffs.

This follows last night’s raid at Pallaso’s home in Amazon-Luwafu, Makindye by security operatives as they attempted to arrest the singer together with his entourage.

This was after Police allegedly received uncountable complaints from the locality about Pallaso and his camp’s noise pollution and disorderliness at all night long.

Speaking via a phone call on Galaxy FM, the Kampala Metropolitan deputy Police spokesperson Asp Luke Owoyesigyire, says they are willing to do their best to have the ‘Akomelerwe’ singer in custody sooner.

Asp. Oweyesigire reveals that the Police operation was after Pallaso had routinely caused miserable nights to his neighborhood with loud music and his disorderly gang.

He also says by the time they stormed his home, he was harboring over 30 people and thriving in drunkard moods.

“Our operation was after we received numerous complaints from the citizens about Pallaso and his friends playing louder music for all night and claim untouchable whenever his neighbors attempt to condemn him,” said Luke.

“He had over 30 people in the house moreover drunk and making noise all over the area.”

Pallaso is also said to have roughly resisted arrest as he man-handled one of the security officers and made-way with the handcuffs.

“Our officers tried to humbly arrest him and have him at least make a statement at the station but he instead replied by scuffing one of our officers and tearing his uniform,” Oweyesigire added.

The self-proclaimed ‘King of the east’ is now wanted after arresting his brother, a one Kasozi Henry, who was part of the unruly gang last night.

“Therefore, we are looking for him, after arresting his so-called brother, Henry Kasozi,” ascertained the Police spokesperson.

Mr. Oweyesigire further revealed that Pallaso has overly desisted respect to the security operative but this time round, he will be charged with three cases; Assaulting the Police, obstruction of Police duties, and lastly illegally possessing Police handcuffs.

“Its not the first time he is disrespectful to the security. He is now supposed to answer on cases of beating-up a national security personnel, forcefully rejecting arrest and escaping with Police property of handcuffs,” Luke concluded.

Pallaso is currently receiving medical attention in yet undisclosed health facility after sustaining serious injuries from the scuffle.

We will keep you posted.
